Single Mother’s Ministry

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” (James 1:27 NIV)

SPEP Single Mother’s ministry is designed to educate and support the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of single mothers.  As instruments of the Lord, the Single Mother’s ministry encourages single mothers to be the best parent God has called them to be, raising children in the love and saving grace of the Lord.

The Single Mother's Ministry meets weekly on Tuesday evenings in the Church's Parlor at 7:00PM. Childcare is provided. Starting in September, on the first Tuesday of the month, please plan to come at 6:30PM. and enjoy a small meal.

Fall Study:

Safe People. Through this biblical study, Drs. Cloud and Townsend offer solid guidance for making safe choices in relationships, from friendships to romance. They help identify the nurturing people we all need in our lives, as well as ones we need to learn to avoid. Safe People will help you to recognize 20 traits of relationally untrustworthy people. Discover what makes some people relationally safe, and how to avoid unhealthy entanglements. You'll learn about things within yourself that jeopardize your relational security. And you'll find out what to do and what not to do to develop a balanced, healthy approach to relationships.
